NEEDLE FELTING - PICTURES
Sunday 17th September 2.30pm
Ready to get violent with a needle and some fibres? Then enter the wonderful world of needle-felted art with Caroline Coates from Creative Coati.
With each stab of the needle, the fibres catch, twist and snarl and from this violence might emerge a unique piece of art, choose a landscape an animal portrait or even just a colourful abstract.
Caroline will show you how to needle felt step by step to create a stunning woolly work of felt art, transforming a material so soft into something solid, structured and with intricate detail.
All materials provided including a large selection of real wool fleece.
You will be amazed at the results you can achieve in just a few hours and will go away with a creation to be proud of (you may also release some tension in the process)!
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those looking to refresh their skills.
In partnership with Ministry of Craft.
£25.00 per person.
